8G2479-50 BEARING SET – .050(U/S).  Undersized crankshaft main bearing set.

For 0.050″ (1.27mm) undersize crankshaft in 6 cylinder Leyland 6/98 DT/NT/TT, BMC 5.1 (later engines) and 5.7 engines.

Note: If your crankshaft is worn or damaged it can be reground to take undersize bearings.  Undersized (U/S) bearings have same measurement at outer side but are a little bit thicker from inner side.  The following standard and undersize bearings are available;
