BBU5149 THERMOSTAT – HOT CLIMATE. Thermostat assembly with bypass blanking plate for hot climates set to open at 74^oC.

First introduced to the 3.8TD engine with the 4 bolt thermostat housing, then used on all 4/98 and 6/98 engines.

Opens at 74^oC (165^oF) – for hot climates, or use 13H7508 –  for temperate climates.
