“TO START ENGINE
SIMMS MINIMEC PUMP
Position left hand gear lever in neutral
Push engine cut off forward with throttle lever half open
Turn key fully right until engine picks up and overrides starter
When starting in cold weather press in excess fuel button
With throttle lever fully open adopt prcedure as above”
