27H4674R CLUTCH.  Reconditioned Nuffield Dual Clutch with independant PTO.  This clutch has ⁵/₁₆” UNF turnbuckles which are ⁷/16” AF spanner size.

The first Borg & Beck 11″ x 11″ dual clutch with part number 27H4674R was introduced in 1956 and fitted to Nuffield 4DM tractors from serial number 10388 onwards.  It was then fitted as an option to Nuffield 3DL, 4DM, 342, 460, 10/42 and 10/60 tractors.  This clutch has ⁵/₁₆” UNF turnbuckles and requires a ⁷/₁₆” AF spanner size for adjusting the main release ring which is set higher on these Nuffields.  

In June 1967 the clutch was updated for the Nuffield 345 and 465 to 37H2447R Dual Clutch Assembly which had 3/8″ turnbuckles.  With the introduction of new linkage and pedal assemblies.  On these tractors the drive thrust ring is set lower and adjustments are made with 3/8″ UNF turnbuckles and 1/2″ AF spanner size.
