J Charnley & Sons is searching for a highly motivated and organised individual to join their parts team as a trainee stock manager.

Due to expansion within our parts department and a growing inventory we're looking to expand our parts team. This is a great opportunity to join a 100% British, family firm whom have been trading for over 65 years.

Though preferred, no prior experience is necessary as we're a looking for someone with the right mentality and organisation skills to help us scale our inventory managment. See the full job ad here...


Seniority level: Entry Level to 1-2 years experience

Start date: Negotiable

Requirements:

Prior experience working within agricultural service or parts is preferred, however above all the successful candidate must have an interest in agricultural, industrial or automotive machines. Other requirements are as follows:

  • Level 3 education is preferred: A level (AE), Diploma, NVQ 
  • GCSE Maths, Science and English grade C and above
  • Exceptional communication skills both spoken and written and be able to work part as a team
  • Highly organised and effective planning skills
  • Able to multitask and work independently
  • IT literate including Microsoft Word and Excel specifically
  • Prior experience with inventory management software is a bonus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with parts manager to improve overall efficiency of parts department
  • Manage incoming inventory
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Manage outgoing inventory
  • Source new stock

 

Salary: dependent on experience and knowledge of our products.
